How many products can I import to my website?

While there's no hard limit on the number of products, WordPress and WooCommerce aren't suited for massive catalogs without proper optimization and dedicated hosting. Large-scale data extraction also poses challenges due to interactions with external websites.
Which websites can I extract products from?
External Importer can extract structured data from most public websites, but the following restrictions may apply:
- Content must be present when the page loads. Dynamic content loaded via JavaScript or Ajax is not supported.
- The website must not block bot access, and your server IP must not be blocked on the target site.
Will it work with my theme?
External Importer Pro works with WooCommerce-compatible themes and plugins.
Can External Importer import products from Shopify?
Shopify stores usually include product schemas, so the plugin works well with them. In general, though, it doesn't matter which eCommerce engine the source site runs on.
Do I have to be approved by an affiliate network to import merchant products?
You can import products without affiliate program approval or API access.
However, to generate affiliate links and earn commissions, your website must be connected to the merchant's affiliate program.
Is there a trial version?
We don't offer a trial version of External Importer, but you can send us examples of the product URLs you'd like to import, and we'll reply with screenshots showing how the plugin works.
Can I import product variations (e.g., color, size, or other attributes)?
To import product variations, you will need a custom parser.
- Default parsers do not support importing variations.
I want the shopping cart to be on my site instead of links to an external site.
You can import products as Simple WooCommerce products with a shopping cart on your website.
Does this plugin support importing products from Amazon?
We've added advanced parsers for all Amazon locales, but please note that Amazon may block some server IPs. If that happens, you'll need to activate a built-in crawling service.

Where can I see affiliate sales statistics?
You can find your sales and traffic reports in the affiliate dashboard of the network you use to promote merchant products.
What if I can't find an advanced parser for my merchant?
We can create custom advanced parsers upon request.
My supplier's website shows prices only after logging in. Can I import products from a site like that?
It's usually possible to create a custom parser with a login function. Please contact us for more details.
Which WooCommerce product types are supported?
You can create the following product types:
- External/Affiliate - customers are redirected to the merchant's website to complete the purchase.
- Simple - products are added to the shopping cart on your local site.
- Variable - supported only when using custom parsers.
Other product types, such as Grouped or Virtual, are not currently supported.
